"Greed" Written by Miles Arntzen/Gabriel Garzon-Montano/Jas Walton Performed by EMEFE Sometimes I got to look up and thank the sky Cuz it just might be the last time Oh my, I've been giving up the funk for just a few years now Enough to make it cool if I die And sometimes, I think about growing old Without ever having made this thing mine Bump that, I'ma get it on while these bones are fit to grind We all got a good thing to give a try Chorus: Feelin right! The air is so thick all the beautiful people get High tonight! Dig ya feet into the ground and make a sound, Ahhhh! This ain't the time for being polite, don't think twice. If ya feeling uptight, just do your own thing, and you'll see your might Sometimes we like to ask the questions why If anything to suit our minds Oh my, I've been making up all kinds of answer for these years now None of them really that fly And all day, every day playing my role A beautiful game by design Play on, got to vibrate while these bones are fit to grind We all got a good thing to give a try (repeat Chorus) Take it slow (Gimme all the time, can't ya see I'm tryina get higher) (repeat Chorus) Gimme more, Gimme all the time, Can't ya see I'm tryina get higher Gimme these wings I take flight Hands up to the sky!

about

Recorded at Mason Jar Music in Brooklyn, Good Future features nine original and hard-hitting tracks, with guest vocal appearances by Chico Mann and Gabriel Garzon-Montano. Good Future is a powerful statement by a powerful band—it is a refreshing and energetic mixture of afrobeat, funk, soul and rock, all fused together to form the irresistible EMEFE sound. The music sounds like a band that is excited and ready to make listeners forget their worries and dance.
